Qi Gong, the most ancient of the Chinese arts, is an amazing reenergizing combination of movement and meditation. It is part of the traditional Chinese Medicine and Martial arts. Simple exercises and balanced breathing are characteristics of Qi Gong that make it easy to learn for most people. Motivations to practice Qi Gong regularly include the very enjoyable state of deep relaxation and happiness which result quickly. In addition, inner focus and visualization enhance the mind/body connection and assist in maintaining a high energy level. Qi Gong gives the body, mind and spirit the energetic support that is needed to regain health and vitality. This practice is famous in China for promoting youthfulness and longevity.

At Wellness for Women Elisa Menzel teaches Qi Gong in a small group environment or one on one. Elisa started practicing Qi Gong in 1992 when she learned the form of Hui Chun Gong. The remarkable results of her regular practice encouraged her to research this ancient Chinese art; over the years she has studied and taught various different forms of Qi Gong. She completed her teacher training with Qiduan Li in 2000 and continued her advanced study of this ancient art in Beijing, China. There she had the pleasure of studying with experts from around the world. Through implementing the philosophy and practice of Qi Gong, Elisa is able to interact with her clients in a compassionate, playful, and patient way.
